In retirement I only do what I love! As a librarian, I co-authored seven resource books for library programs on topics popular with kids: food, clothes, transportation, friends, homes, fairy tales, and more food! After a midlife ordination to ministry, I published Bible storybooks for Standard, Concordia and St Paul. Cook Communications published my best-selling Baby Bible Storybook – 1.5M copies and translated into some amazing languages like Arabic and Indonesian! Retiring from full time ministry in 2008, I went back to the library world, teaching pre-pre-pre reading skills to ages 0-3 years. Now I serve two parishes, travel annually teaching English in far flung corners of the world, and write stories to read and read again.
