Pamela Morgan is a children's book author and playwright from Central Illinois. Her debut picture book, Simply Skye (Amicus, 2023), was a 2024 Crystal Kite Award finalist. Pamela's publications include Smith & Kraus Publishers, Chicago Story Press, 220 Publishing, and HerStories Project Press. Pamela was honored to receive the Words of Wonder Fellowship from Dairy Hollow Writer's Colony, the Inked Voices Mentorship, the KCACTF Region V Rosa Parks award, the Judith Royer Excellence in Playwriting finalist, and the Jane Chambers Excellence in Feminist Playwriting finalist. She is a co-Regional Advisor for SCBWI-IL and a member of two active critique groups.
