C.D. White is the author of The Bad Mood Monster, Benny’s Blanket, and Marvelous Mismatched Witches. Her children are the influence of her first two books. She collaborated with Jean Adamov for the illustrations in Benny’s Blanket; sneaking in a few nods to her children and elements from her childhood memories. Her whimsical rhyming books are stories that explore emotion and imaginative play. Works in progress include stories celebrating friendship and fun. She lives in a small Midwest town with her husband, Mark. C.D. enjoys meeting fellow authors and supporting local libraries and independent bookstores. In addition to writing and drawing, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, reading, and finding new ways to apply her creativity.
