Carol believes that the best books are fun to read stories that also contain some aspect of social justice. In her books, the focus always remains on the main character’s own challenges rather than on a history lesson or moral point. She likes to talk to children 3rd grade and up about her books and writing. Carol lives in Chicago and is currently writing a middle-grade time-travel trilogy called The Time-Jinx Twins.
